Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using the Vaultforge marketplace, operated by Vaultforge, Inc. It forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.
1. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Service to engage in any of the following:
- Fraud and payment abuse. Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods, providing false billing information, or engaging in fraudulent transactions.
- Chargeback abuse. Initiating chargebacks or payment disputes in bad faith or without first attempting to resolve the issue with us.
- Intellectual property infringement. Uploading, distributing, or using content that infringes the copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of any party, including publisher-owned game IP.
- Unauthorized resale or redistribution. Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing assets beyond the rights granted by the applicable asset license, including repackaging assets into competing libraries or asset packs.
- Scraping and automated extraction. Using bots, crawlers, or automated means to harvest content, asset files, or data from the Service without our written permission.
- Malware and harmful code. Uploading or distributing viruses, trojans, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Security circumvention. Attempting to breach, probe, or bypass the security of the Service, access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the Service’s normal operation.
- Harassment and abuse. Harassing, threatening, defaming, or abusing other users, creators, or our staff.
- Illegal use. Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.
2. Consequences and Enforcement
We take violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on the severity, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice: issue a warning; remove or disable access to content; suspend or terminate your account; revoke asset licenses associated with the violation; withhold or reverse payments; and report unlawful activity to law enforcement or other authorities. We may also cooperate with legal investigations and pursue any other remedies available to us.
3. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any activity that violates this AUP — including suspected IP infringement, fraud, or security issues — please report it to us at support@vaultforge.com with as much detail as possible. We investigate all credible reports and take appropriate action.
